How do I Update .ca Privacy Settings?

If you wish to change the privacy settings for any of the contacts for your .ca domains, please open a support ticket and provide the domain name and the contact name that you wish to change the privacy settings for.
Please note - any contacts that are Corporations cannot change their privacy settings.

Privacy protections for registrant contact information with CIRA (.ca Registration Authority) have defaults based on registrant type (individual / corporation). For further reading on privacy protections, please check out: https://www.cira.ca/ca-domains/whois. Here is an excerpt:

“The registrant name and administrative and technical contact information of non-individual registrants, such as corporations, is displayed by default. The registrant name and administrative and technical contact information of individual registrants, such as Canadian citizens or permanent residents is not displayed in WHOIS.”
