How do I Create a Contact or Sub-Account for my Client Profile?

To create a contact or sub-account, you will first need to login to your Client Area on canhost.ca.

Once you have logged in, the link that you will need is called 'Update Account', which can be found inside the 'Shortcuts' section on the left.

 

We are now directed to the 'My Details' page, but we are interested in selecting the 'Contacts/Sub-Accounts' button on the left, under 'My Account'.

 

Once you tick 'Activate Sub-Account', a new field will appear to ask you which permissions the sub-account will have. It is also in this field that you will specify the password for the new account.

Please take care in assigning these permissions, as they directly impact your account security.
